Eastern Screech Owl - We found this screech owl injured in the middle of a local hardtop road. Since we were on our way to appointments, we tucked her into the weeds well off road. She was still there when we came home. The next morning, a neighbor took the owl to a rehabilitator in Ithaca NY. Her injured wing and eye recovered and she was returned to the wild!
